Lalitpur, Nepal — Hult Prize at IOE Pulchowk Campus is set to return with the third installment of its highly anticipated Entrepreneurship Talk Series, focusing on the theme of “Design Thinking.” This session, scheduled for January 24th at Embark College, Pulchowk, Lalitpur, aims to equip aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, and changemakers with essential tools for problem-solving creatively and effectively.
The session will provide valuable insights into the design thinking methodology, guiding participants through key phases such as user empathy, ideation, prototyping, and testing. This event promises to enhance problem-solving abilities and propel the entrepreneurial journey forward whether interests lie in business, technology, or social impact.
Attendees can engage in an interactive and insightful discussion with Ms. Hima Bista, Executive Director of Women LEAD Nepal. With over 24 years of experience in the development sector, Ms. Bista is a dedicated advocate for women’s rights and social justice. Her leadership has significantly contributed to advancing gender equity and improving healthcare access for marginalized communities through her work with organizations such as Possible | Nyaya Health Nepal and DFID Nepal (UKAID).
A passionate feminist and social justice advocate, Ms. Bista has been at the forefront of critical initiatives, including campaigns for Dignified Menstruation and Rage Against Rape. She is also a co-founder of Hajuri Khadya Udyog (Kitchen Recipe) and Achaar Ghar: House of Pickles, inspiring young individuals through her entrepreneurial endeavors and public engagements.
The talk series aims to foster collaboration, encourage idea exchange, and provide a platform for networking among like-minded individuals. Participants will gain practical insights on transforming their ideas into actionable solutions and be inspired by real-life success stories and strategic approaches to innovation.
